What's going on Reunion Weekend? We have a lineup of events planned throughout the weekend.
You are invited to join any or all of them.
Right on, baby! Right on!
(Unless noted, times will be announced at a later date.)
FRIDAY EVENING
Kickoff Buffet at Domani - Walk right in, it's around the back, just a half a block from the railroad track. What a great way to start the reunion weekend! They say you can get anything you want here as long as it covered with sauce, garnished with parmisean, and served with Italian bread. Those who attended the 2010 and 2015 reunions will remember this as being as the place we begin our amazing weekend together while enjoying excellent Italian food that couldn't be beat. Tickets for this event will be limited, and will go on sale soon.
Get-together at Lou's Tavern - After Domani, we''ll be headed to the ten time winner of Best Neighborhood Dive Bar by Bergen Magazine and (201) Magazine. Lou's has been a Hillsdale institution for as long as many of us can remember. If you only come out at night and decide to bypass Domani, we'll be there.
SATURDAY
PVHS tour led by Jeff Jasper - He started with us at freshman orientation in September 1971, when as a newcomer himself, he introduced us to our high school home. Fifty-four years later, Jeff Jasper is still teaching, going strong and ready to show us what Pascack Valley High School is all about in 2025.
Lunch and/or craft beer at Five Dimes Brewery - This has been become a popular local establishment over the past few years, and is perfect for those who want to get a bite to eat and/or a craft beer, brewed on premises. Whether you want to stop by after the tour, or skip the tour and just spend some time with your classmates, you'll have a great time. (In accordance with New Jersey law, this is BYOF, with plenty of places nearby from which to bring food in, or to have delivered.)
The Main Event at DoubleTree - Let's get it on with the highlight of the weekend, starting off with a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres at 6:00 PM, followed by a buffet dinner and a whole bunch of fun stuff, till 11:00 PM.
Afterparty at Booyah! Till Closing Time - And if you're not quite ready to call it a night, we'll be taking it to Booyah!, DoubleTree's 1990's themed bar and restaurant which will remain open until 2:00 AM. (1990's? Wasn't that like, last year?)
SUNDAY MORNING
