Slightly more convenient than the Super 8 next door, rooms at the DoubleTree are currently available at the nightly rate of $148.35 tax included. Trip Advisor, has ranked it number 2 out of the 8 hotels in Mahwah based on over 200 guest reviews.   The hotel would not give us a group rate for reasonable terms.

Next door at the Super 8 - Special rate and free breakfast, too!

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Super 8 Hotel  (Wyndham Hotel group) conveniently located next door, with a path leading right to the DoubleTree. Our discounted nightly rate for the nights of the 16th, 17th and 18th, is $76.36 tax included.  To get this rate, call 201-512-0800 and tell them you're with the PASCACK VALLEY REUNION. While this place won't be confused with the Ritz-Carlton, you can cut your hotel bill almost in half, and get a free breakfast. Read the reviews in Trip Advisor and decide for yourself. Several of the reunion committee members checked out the lobby, and it appeared clean, though nothing fancy.

Unlike the DoubleTree, you will not get a warm, freshly baked cookie at check-in.  With the nearly $150.00 you'd save for a two night stay, you can buy plenty of cookies and have money left over for lots of milk.
