Is there a dress code?

We don't exactly have a dress code for the events of reunion weekend.   As for the main event on Saturday night, most people attending the 40 year reunion dressed business casual, which may not help as that sometimes escapes precise definition.  If you'd like to get a clearer picture, we have photos in the Scenes from the 40 Year Reunion section of the website so you can see what other people were wearing.  If you are planning on attending the Friday night festivities, people tended to dress perhaps a bit more casual.

I still have not booked a hotel.  Am I too late?
Last we spoke with management, there was still availability at the DoubleTree.  Even though they are no longer holding rooms for us, the hotel agreed to offer us rooms at the group rate of just under $160. If you are interested, email us right away at pvclassof75.com and we will help make those arrangements.

Otherwise, there is the Super 8 Hotel next store, which is cheap both in price and quality, and not recommended.

There are also other hotels within a short Uber ride.

Why are we having it at the DoubleTree in Mahwah?

It really became a no brainer.  The DoubleTree gave us the biggest bang for the buck, providing us with more food options and butlered hors d'oeuvres at a much better price than the other places we considered.  The hotel bar at the DT is open until 2:00 am to accommodate those who just don't want go home, unlike most other venues which did not offer that.

Is there an open bar?
Nice idea, but that would mean that we'd have to charge an additional $40, and that would be just for two hours. That would also be unfair to those classmates who don't drink. However, drinks are very reasonably priced at $5 for bottles beer, $6 for wine and $7 for mixed drinks. If you still live in the New York area, you know that's a good deal.

Which of my classmates will be there?
Check out the "Who's Going?" page.

What kind of food will be there?
We will start off with a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres, followed by a buffet dinner, with the main menu choices constiting of pasta primavera, chicken marsala, eggplan parmigiana and lemon herb salmon.

What time should I arrive for the main event?
The cocktail hour begins at 6:00 PM.  At our last reunion in 2015 which was held at the same location, many classmates met earlier at the hotel restaraurant bar, now called "Booyah!"

What time will things end?
The ending time will is listed at 11:00 PM, however management has agreed to keep the bar open until 2:00 PM. Going back again to 2015, quite a few people hung around until closing time

What's going on Friday night?
We have the Opening Night Kickoff buffet at Domani Restaurant at 6:00 PM in Hillsdale, with tickets going for $47.00. Details are can be found here.  Afterwards, and for those not going to Domani, many of us will be strolling over to Lou's Tavern, where classmate Ruth Mesrobian will be peforming with her band.  If the weather is good, that will be outdoors.

What's going on Saturday?
We're still working out some of the details with the school for a breakfast which we would like to hold somewhere on campus. At 10:30 AM, Jeff Jasper will be leading a tour of the high school (yes, he's still there!) At noon, we will be congregating at Five Dimes Brewery for lunch and an foamy adult beverage, if you should so choose.

How do I find the answer to a question that's not listed here?
